Several people seem to be struggling with freewriting. I did too, but for the assignment it all suddenly fell into place. I scored 10/10 for this, which was a huge surprise! It might give others some idea of how random they need to be. This freewrite links into Macs!

 

A vacant chair, red swivel fairground ride, flung to the sky, larks singing in the blue, bird Stanford singing gives the choir energy. Big band dancing hall, school plays embarrassing, hot flush aging and decrepit. Upcycle, recycle two wheels better than four not as good as six, rough terrain tank school driving tracks guide the train to the sun. Sand pitted dates juicy and fresh, oasis with palms, water streaming cold. Icy breath-taking energy-sapping water in a shady canyon deep in the earth. Bridging the gap, historical land link, Brunel would be proud, constantly used and updated – upcycled. Plastic boxes for paper, cardboard, glass, plastic – mac black and white spots, channelling rain into boots. Blue or red sou’wester? Arguments with sister. Waterproof is not waterproof! Take your jacket, walking long distances, blisters, black toe nail, pedicure, manicure, what colour polish? Facial and hair cut, slave to fashion, waste of time and money. The route of all evil never enough too much corrupts. Starts in childhood? Innocent and accepting gifts with humility, conundrum. Puzzles keep the brain going but frustrate if too clever, unsolvable. Dilemmas, dilemmas the stuff of life, boring without them. Difficult with them. Families are hard to live with, politics and decisions.
